Lobachevsky University takes part in education exhibition in Kazakhstan

Lobachevsky University took part in the education exhibition/presentation "Study in Russia" in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was held in the Russian House in Nur-Sultan, with more than 20 Russian universities showcasing their study programmes.

The main purpose of the event was to attract young people from the Republic of Kazakhstan to study in higher education programmes at universities of the Russian Federation. Representing Lobachevsky University were Ekaterina Skotnikova of the UNN Office for International Advancement and Ekaterina Povalyashko of the UNN International Cooperation Office.

During the exhibition, applicants from Kazakhstan learned about the programmes implemented at Lobachevsky University and admission procedures. The most popular fields of study at UNN among applicants from Kazakhstan included physics, radiophysics, information technology, psychology, journalism and international relations. Applicants named affordable tuition fees, a wide range of educational programmes, a high level of education quality, and the possibility of accommodation in university dormitories as the main advantages of enrolling and studying at Lobachevsky University.
