Martin Hinoul’s open lecture at Lobachevsky University
On October 31, an open lecture for students of the program "Innovative entrepreneurship" and all comers will be held at Lobachevsky University. The lecture begins at 18:00 in the hall of scientific demonstrations (Gagarin Avenue, 23, building 2). The topic of the lecture is "Commercialization of innovative products and intellectual property on the example of the Technology Transfer Center". The speaker is Martin Hinoul, Director of the research center of the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. The lecture will be in English (with translation into Russian).
Dr. Hinoul holds a Ph.D.degree in Physics and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven). He has also done postdoctoral research at the Stanford University, at M.I.T., and at several other laboratories in Europe, the U.S. and Japan. Since 1998, Martin Hinoul has been the Business Development Manager for the "Knowledge Economy Region of Leuven”, based at the HQ of K.U.Leuven Research and Development (the Technology Transfer Cell). In the course of 17 years, in partnership with Professor Koen Debackere, General Manager of the KU Leuven, he created the fastest growing technology cluster in continental Europe. Martin Hinoul personally is the "holder" of the largest business network of technology and business partners (more than 7,000 thousands of entrepreneurs and companies).
