Master classes for Nizhny Novgorod and Shanghai students held at Lobachevsky University
A series of online master classes on Russian culture was held at UNN for students of Nizhny Novgorod universities and Shanghai University of Political Science and Law.
Some 60 students took part in the master classes. Each participant received an individual "Russian Culture Ambassador" box, whose contents allowed them to have a tournament in the traditional Russian game "Gorodki", role-play the folk tale "Teremok", watch a film about students, play a game of Russian culture associations and explore the world of traditional Russian cuisine by trying pancakes with condensed milk.
"It was a wonderful event, the master classes helped Chinese students to learn more about Russian culture and showed that one can learn Russian in an interesting and fun way. The Chinese students enjoyed their direct interaction with Russian students," commented Li Hua, Russian language teacher at Shanghai University of Political Science and Law.
The event was held as part of the Russian Culture Ambassadors project with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
