Master's student of Lobachevsky University Dmitry Safronov wins medals at the Paralympics

Two representatives of Lobachevsky University - Dmitry Safronov, a master's student of the UNN Faculty of Physical Education, and Andrey Vdovin, a graduate of the university, became Paralympic champions at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Andrey Vdovin was the first to finish in the 200 metres in the T37 class. This was his second gold medal. Earlier he won gold in the 400 metres event. In 2024, the athlete earned the title of a three-time Paralympic Games champion.

Dmitry Safronov was second in the 200 metres in the T35 class.

Moreover, Andrey Vdovin and Dmitry Safronov also won bronze medals in the 100 metres event.
