Nanophysics and Nanoelectronics Symposium held in Nizhny Novgorod
The XXVII International Symposium on Nanophysics and Nanoelectronics was held in Nizhny Novgorod from March 13 to March 16. It was attended by leading Russian and foreign scientists in the field of nanoelectronics, semiconductor physics, nanostructure physics, X-ray optics, probe and electron microscopy. Traditionally, researchers from Lobachevsky University took part in the symposium, and UNN acted as a co-organiser. The principal organiser was the Institute for Physics of Microstructures of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
"The Nanophysics and Nanoelectronics Symposium is a networking platform where leading research teams gather and share their latest achievements. Lobachevsky University is traditionally well represented; our scientists make invaluable contributions in all areas of research. This year, the program of the symposium was broadened, with a special focus on quantum technologies. There were many reports related to quantum computing and X-ray optics," said Mikhail Ivanchenko, UNN Vice-Rector for Research.
