New Academic Council approved at UNN

The new lineup of the Academic Council was approved at Lobachevsky University on February 26. The university held a conference of employees and students, which amended the procedure for forming this university governing body.

According to the new rules, the rector, the president, vice-rectors, as well as all deans of faculties and directors of institutes will automatically become members of the Council. A total of 61 people were elected to the Academic Council, 28 of whom were proposed by the staff of the university structural units. 

“We are facing ambitious tasks for further steady development of our university. The role of our staff in solving them is extremely important. Only together, acting in unity, supporting each other, will we be able to implement our strategic goals and achieve the objectives set by the Russian President. Let us all have a fruitful work!”, Oleg Trofimov, UNN Rector, said at the conference.
