The inaugural issue of the Nizhny Novgorod Psychological Journal, a peer-reviewed scientific publication of Lobachevsky University, has been published. The first issue can be found on the journal's website.

This new electronic publication features research findings across various domains of psychological science.

"The journal welcomes both fundamental and applied research in key areas, ranging from general psychology and psychophysiology to occupational psychology, medical psychology, and developmental psychology. We aim to support classical empirical and experimental work, as well as interdisciplinary projects addressing the challenges of our time," says Tatiana Markelova, editor-in-chief, head of the Department of Developmental and Clinical Psychology at the UNN Faculty of Social Sciences, and head of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Russian Psychological Society.

According to her, the journal is being developed in close collaboration with UNN's dissertation council for the specialty "Developmental Psychology" and, in the near future, for "Occupational Psychology, Engineering Psychology, and Cognitive Ergonomics". This means that postgraduate students and researchers now have the opportunity to quickly publish their research in a publication included in the Higher Attestation Commission's list of peer-reviewed scientific journals.

It is planned that 4 issues of the new journal will be published annually. Submissions can be sent via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
