Olympiad in foreign languages for school students held at the Institute of International Relations and World History
The annual Olympiad in foreign languages (English, German and French) for school students of 9th-11th grades was for the first time organized by the UNN Institute of International Relations and World History in a remote mode.
The Olympiad was held on April 25 with 94 students taking part. Tasks were sent to participants by e-mail and published on the IIRWH website. During the first round, students were given tasks on reading and listening comprehension and performed a lexical and grammatical test. In the second round, they had to write an essay.
In accordance with the Procedure for taking into account university applicants' individual achievements, the winners and prizewinners of the Olympiad can get additional points when applying to Lobachevsky University: + 5 points to the Unified State Examination score for the winners of the Olympiad (1st degree diploma) and +3 points for the prizewinners (2nd and 3rd degree diplomas).
