The Lobachevsky University team took part in the mass swimming event called Volga Swim. The university's representatives successfully covered the distances of one, two, three, and five kilometers, showcasing their excellent physical fitness, endurance, and dedication to a healthy lifestyle.

The participants demonstrated outstanding results at every stage of the competition. On the most challenging five-kilometer course, Semyon Alferov secured sixth place in the overall ranking and second place in his age group. Sergei Pankratov and Mikhail Viktorov confidently tackled the three-kilometer distance, displaying remarkable technique and athletic tenacity.

At the two-kilometer stage, Yegor Detushev took ninth place in the general standings and fourth in his category, while Anastasia Kazennova emerged as the first in her age group, fourth among all women, and thirty-first overall. Daniil Volnov, Alexander Nyuchov, Olga Kazarina, Sabina Busareva, and Tatiana Novikova also demonstrated a strong pace at this distance.

Mikhail Kalenik, who claimed ninth place in the absolute category and fourth in his group, and Anastasia Baeva, who achieved the sixth result in her age category and twelfth among all women, finished strongly in the one-kilometer swim. Nikita Kheresh rounded out the list of participants with an impressive final sprint, showing a true athletic spirit.

The successful performance by the UNN staff in this prestigious regional sporting event once again confirms that the university community actively supports physical culture and sports, clearly proving that there are no unsurmountable obstacles for the Lobachevsky University team.
