Open Doors International Olympiad shortlisted for Znanie Award

The Znanie Award of the Russian Znanie Society was established to recognize the achievements of educators, teachers, lecturers, authors, bloggers, popularizers of science, as well as to acknowledge educational projects and companies in different areas. In 2023, the award competition is being held for the third time.

This year, over 13 thousand applications were submitted to compete in 17 nominations of Znanie Award from all regions of Russia, with 89 selected nominees. Open Doors Olympiad is presented in the category "For Contribution to Education in the Field of 'International Relations'".

The Olympiad is open to foreign citizens and compatriots living abroad, who apply for Master's and PhD programmes. The winners of the competition get the right to study free of charge in the chosen field of study in the Master's/PhD programme at Lobachevsky University or other universities participating in the Olympiad under the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation. All Olympiad winners receive 15 additional points when competing for the right to free education in the chosen field of study in Master's/PhD programmes within the Russian Government quota (one can register for this competition on the portal education-in-russia.com).
