Opening the doors to the IT world: UNN IITMM graduates receive diplomas

A festive graduation ceremony for awarding diplomas to graduates of the Institute of Information Technology, Mathematics, and Mechanics (IITMM) took place at Lobachevsky University. Over 400 young professionals received their higher education credentials.

The graduates were greeted by Evgenia Chernykh, UNN Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Nikolai Zolotykh, Director of IITMM, and Ivan Kuzmin, Vice-President of Sber’s B2C Data and Recommendation Systems Department.

University administrators and industry representatives highlighted the high level of the graduates’ training and noted the demand for IT professionals in today’s job market. Nikolai Zolotykh, the IITMM Director, congratulated the students on receiving their diplomas, encouraged them not to stopat the achieved results,and invited them to pursue further education at their alma mater—in the master’s and PhD programmes.

This academic year, 427 graduates received their higher education documents: 302 bachelors, 9 specialists, and 116 masters. The Institute takes particular pride in the 54 diplomas with honours awarded to 21 bachelors and 33 masters.
