Postgraduate student of Lobachevsky University wins bronze at Russian Draughts Championship

The Russian Russian Draughts Championship in age categories under 17, 20 and 27 years closed in the Yaroslavl region.

The players competed in 3 programmes differing in the time allotted for thinking over moves: blitz, rapid and classical.

Vitaly Egolin, a postgraduate student of the UNN Radiophysics Faculty, Grandmaster of Russia, won a bronze medal in the most prestigious classical programme among juniors under 27.
