Project development workshop of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet programme

On November 19, an online training workshop on project development under the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet programme was held at Lobachevsky University. It was organized by the UNN International Cooperation Office together with the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet National Office in Russia. More than 60 representatives of Lobachevsky University and other universities of Nizhny Novgorod took part in the event.

Alexander Bedny, UNN Vice-Rector for International Affairs, addressed workshop participants with a welcome speech, noting the importance of Erasmus+ projects for the internationalisation of higher education in Russia.

The key speaker at the workshop was Natalia Aksenova, Administrator of the Erasmus+ National Office in Russia. She made a presentation of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet programme, analysed various practical aspects of preparing applications for the programme competition, and gave her recommendations to prospective programme applicants. Numerous questions from workshop participants were also answered.

The workshop was moderated by Alexander Gorylev, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Office.

Given the significant interest of the academic community in the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet programme, a strategic session on preparing applications for participation in the programme competition will be held at Lobachevsky University in early December 2020, the date and format of the strategic session to be announced.
