Representatives of foreign universities visit UNN
On November 16, in the framework of the international scientific conference “Spaces of Histories and Histories of Spaces: Metamorphoses of Perception, Acquirement, Creation”, which was held at Lobachevsky University by the Institute of International Relations and World History, Vice-Rector for International Affairs A.B. Bedny, Director of the International Affairs Department I.S. Leonova, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Relations and World History for Research A.N. Maslov and Professor of the Department of Culture and Psychology A.A. Kuznetsov met with foreign participants of the conference. Taking part in the meeting were representatives of several foreign universities: Andreas Mehl, Professor Emeritus, Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg (Germany), Adam Kemezis, Associate Professor of the Department of History and Antiquity at the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada), Antonio Pistellato, Researcher at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (Italy), Irena Cvijanović, Research Associate at the Institute of History, Belgrade (Serbia) and Irene Madreiter, Assistant Professor at the Department of Ancient History and Ancient Near Eastern Studies, University of Innsbruck (Austria). Foreign guests were informed about the history of Lobachevsky University, about key research areas and UNN’s extensive international relations. In the course of the meeting, current issues of scientific cooperation and the development of relations between UNN and foreign universities, as well as participation in joint Erasmus and Horizon projects were discussed.
