Representatives of Lobachevsky University, REC and Guangdong Union discuss scientific cooperation

A meeting of the representatives of Lobachevsky University, Nizhny Novgorod Research and Education Centre  (REC) and Guangdong Union for International Scientific and Technological Cooperation with CIS countries was held on February 28. Taking part in the meeting were Timur Khalitov, Director of the Nizhny Novgorod REC, Advisor to the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region on investment and innovation, Oleg Trofimov, Executive Director of the Nizhny Novgorod REC, Alexander Bedny, UNN Vice-Rector for International Affairs, and Mikhail Shiryaev, UNN Vice-Rector for Innovation. The Chinese side was represented by Xinchao Han, Deputy Director of Guangdong International Technology Union for Cooperation with CIS Countries.  

The meeting focused on scientific and educational cooperation, personnel training, development of cooperation in technology and innovation, and mechanisms for Guangdong Union to facilitate communication with partners from the People's Republic of China.
