Evgenia Chernykh, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dean of the UNN Faculty of Law, and Andrey Leonov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law for International Affairs, took part in the 2024  Forum of the SCO Association of Law Universities. The event was held at the Centre for International Law Training and Cooperation for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO Centre), established in 2014 at the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law at the initiative of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The forum brought together several dozen delegations from leading universities of the SCO member states. The main objective of the forum was to discuss common approaches to training highly qualified lawyers in the SCO region, building a dialogue between universities, research and expert centres, employers, and business associations.

Evgenia Chernykh presented at the Forum a report on international network programmes, one of the most effective tools of internationalisation of higher education in law. The conceptual presentation was accompanied by an example of how the Faculty of Law of Lobachevsky University realises this mechanism in practice within the framework of networking with the Tashkent State University of Law. The successful example of implementing a network bachelor's program sparked the interest of the forum participants.
