On January 22,  participants of the  Nizhny Novgorod  Research and Education Center (REC) "Technoplatform 2035" presented their projects at the UNN Center for Innovation Development. Scientists and innovators have developed 40 projects in the field of intelligent transport systems, high-tech medicine, digital technologies, ecology and innovative manufacturing.

Igor Nosov, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Elena Zagaynova, Acting Rector of Lobachevsky University, Andrey Sanosyan, Director of the Management Company of the Technoplatform 2035, and representatives of the expert committee evaluated the ideas presented by theREC participants.

Igor Nosov noted the important role of the region in developing the methodology for creating research and education centers throughout Russia.

"We have demonstrated Nizhny Novgorod region’s high level. We have shown that we have projects in all key areas. And many of them are very interesting. I wish all the participants of the session to apply the knowledge gained here and their projects to be implemented in the REC framework", said Elena Zagaynova addressing the audience.

"Today's event is important not only for the Nizhny Novgorod region, it is also important on the national scale. Other regions of Russia are looking at us. We are creating traditions of the REC", Igor Nosov noted. "The aim of the session is not just to have a presentation of projects, but also to make some concrete steps in terms of management and to form an expert community. This will allow the ecosystem of research and education centers to develop independently," said Andrei Sanosyan.

Nizhny Novgorod projects, which were selected in the framework of the strategic session, will receive expert assessment at the meeting of the Council of Research and Educational Centers to be held in Moscow in late January 2020.
