"It is our tradition to meet with our alumni. We meet to talk about our profession. I am very happy for those talented students who have studied well, completed their practical training responsibly and then established themselves in their profession. Today, we have invited graduates who are worthy representatives of Lobachevsky University in various media or PR departments. I am very grateful to the faculty team at the Department of Journalism, with whom we have been working together for a quarter of a century. We have very good relations with employers thanks to our faculty, and most importantly, all of them give part of their soul to the students," said Olga Savinova.
The graduates told the students how to find a good job, to be successful in their favourite field and to avoid professional burnout. Among the guests were Vera Logunova, reporter of GTRK Nizhny Novgorod, Pavel Dedichenko, head of the Kstovo municipal district administration's information policy department, Natalia Taeva, deputy head of the Uzorochie company, and others. The students were also addressed by Vadim Tsyganov, Head of the press service of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, who underlined the importance of print media in today's digital world.
