Science brings together: UNN strengthens collaboration with Kazan’s research centres

Representatives of Kazan National Research Technical University (KNRTU) and the Federal Research Centre “Kazan Scientific Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences” (KazSC RAS) paid a visit to Lobachevsky University. The delegation included Kirill Okhotkin, Acting Rector of KNRTU, and Alexey Kalachev, Director of the KazSC RAS.

During their visit, the guests were informed about UNN’s research and educational potential, including the university's achievements in the field of basic and applied research, infrastructural opportunities and promising areas for future development.

The parties discussed plans for research and educational activities, and expressed interest in implementing joint projects in priority areas such as quantum technologies, radiophotonics, and unmanned aircraft systems.

In line with the agreement on collaboration with the Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, which was signed in April, the parties reaffirmed their dedication to the previously agreed objectives and plans for joint endeavors.
