Scientists Come to Schools
On 19 February, Dean of the UNN Faculty of Physics Alexander Malyshev visited Lyceum No. 40 in Nizhny Novgorod to give a lecture as part of the all-Russian "Scientists Come to Schools" campaign. The lecture was focused on several discoveries concerning the structure of the Universe which were recently awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics. The scientist's story about black holes, the discovery of exoplanets, the expansion of the Universe and cosmic microwave emission caused genuine interest among school students.
The All-Russian campaign "Scientists Come to Schools" is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Russian Union of Rectors and is supported by the NAUKA 0+ project.
