Site visit of the external review panel to Lobachevsky University

Within the framework of the international professional public accreditation of the cluster of study programs in the fields of study "Electronics and Nanoelectronics" and "Electronics, Radio Engineering and Communication Systems" delivered by the UNN Faculty of Physics, an external review panel visited Lobachevsky University on December 10-12. The review was held in accordance with the plan of the 5-100 Program being implemented by the UNN. The panel was headed by Dr. Erich Gornik, Emeritus  Professor of the  Technical  University of Vienna, and included representatives of the academic and professional community. The  Russian National Centre for Public Accreditation was represented by Galina Bakumenko.

During the visit to the UNN, the external review panel met with the leadership of the University and the Faculty of Physics, with teaching staff members involved in the program, students and postgraduates, alumni and representatives of the region's professional community. In the course of the meetings and interviews, external experts evaluated the quality of training in the programs being accredited and the degree of satisfaction of all the participants of the teaching and learning process with the training on these programs. As a result of the audit,  Lobachevsky University has received a certificate of completion of the international external review of study programs "Electronics and Nanoelectronics" and "Electronics, Radio Engineering and Communication Systems".
