Student of UNN Faculty of Physical Education and Sports named among the winners of the Olympic Scientific Session
Daria Baranova, Master’s program student of the UNN Faculty of Physical Education and Sport took 2nd place at the All-Russian stage of the XXX Olympic Scientific Session of Young Scientists and Students of Russia "Olympism, Olympic Movement, Olympic Games (History and Modernity)" held by the Russian Olympic Committee at the Russian State University of Physical Culture and Sport, Youth and Tourism (Moscow).
The jury noted the relevance, interesting scientific ideas, high practical significance and creative approach in Daria’s research paper focused on the scientific analysis of changes in the systems of refereeing in figure skating.
Daria Baranova was awarded a winner’s diploma signed by Anastasia Davydova, Secretary General of the Russian Olympic Committee, five-time Olympic champion, thirteen-time world champion and seven-time European champion. Daria also received a memorable gift and a cash prize of the Russian Olympic Committee.
Participants of the All-Russian stage were selected at the regional stage of the XXX Olympic Scientific Session held in December 2018 at the UNN Faculty of Physical Education and Sport with the participation of the Olympic Council of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
