StudRussia competition for international students

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation has announced the start of the national competition «StudRussia» for international students. The competition aims to support foreign students in Russia who have outstanding achievements in education, science, youth policy, student leadership, community activities, volunteering, creativity, and sports by engaging them in public, cultural, and competitive events.

The competition is organised by the University of Science and Technology MISIS (Moscow) with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

The competition consists of three stages:

- The first stage: selection (August 24 – September 20, 2026);
- The second stage: regional (October 2026 at the venues of the universities hosting the regional stages);
- The third stage: all-Russian (November – December 2026 at NUST MISIS in Moscow).

Applications for the competition must be submitted by September 20, 2026.
