Study in Russia free of charge! UNN invites you to Open Doors International Olympiad

Online registration for the International Olympiad for foreign citizens "OPEN DOORS RUSSIAN SCHOLARSHIP PROJECT" started on September 1. The Olympiad is part of the federal project "Russia in the World" within the national project "Youth and Children". Over the past few years, more than 500,000 people from 190 countries have taken part in the Olympiad, and more than 12,000 winners have gained the chance to study free of charge at top Russian universities. Lobachevsky University is among the organising universities of the Olympiad.

Features of the International Olympiad for Foreign Citizens "OPEN DOORS RUSSIAN SCHOLARSHIP PROJECT":

✅ Participation takes place entirely online in Russian or English (at the participant's choice)

✅ Participation from any country in the world and free of charge at all stages;

✅ Registration is open from September 1 to November 16, 2025.

✅ Foreign citizens who are the winners or prize-winners of the Olympiad can apply for free education in 14 interdisciplinary subject areas at the bachelor's, master's, and postgraduate levels, within the quota set by the Russian government.

✅ The winners and prize-winners also receive additional advantages, benefits, and discounts from Lobachevsky University.

Olympiad stages:

✅ Uploading your portfolio and motivation letter, taking an online test;

✅  Completing Olympiad assignments under proctoring;

✅ Online interviews with research supervisors (for postgraduate and postdoc tracks). More details can be found on the website.
