The ninth educational exhibition «Study in Russia» took place at the Russian House in Astana (Kazakhstan). Lobachevsky University was represented by Nadezhda Shlykova, Head of the Department for International Student Affairs, and Alexander Gorylev, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department and associate professor at the UNN Department of Constitutional and Municipal Law.

Forty-five Russian universities participated in the event, attracting more than 3,000 visitors. Schoolchildren, prospective students, and their parents showed keen interest in Lobachevsky University's educational programmes and study opportunities. This year, there has been a notable increase in interest among Kazakhstani applicants for master's degree programmes. UNN representatives provided comprehensive information on the admission process through participation in competitions such as Open Doors, Lobachevsky/RU, and Future Researchers - Future of Science.

Alexander Gorylev and Nadezhda Shlykova also met with the leadership of the Esil University and the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports (APEMS) in Astana. For several years, UNN has been implementing student exchange programmes with the Esil University. Lobachevsky University and the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports, which is Kazakhstan’s foremost centre for the preparation of highly skilled physical education and sports instructors, have reached an accord regarding the signing of cooperation agreements and the promotion of student and faculty mobility.
