The heart of science: UNN scientists take part in cardiology forum

From April 2 to 4, the 30th  Anniversary All-Russian Cardiology Forum with international participation "Healthy Heart Week 2026" was held in Nizhny Novgorod. This forum has traditionally been one of the key scientific and educational events in the region, bringing together top scientists and doctors from Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Kazan, Samara, Irkutsk, Saratov, and other Russian cities.

The forum saw active participation from staff members of the Department of Internal Medicine and residents of the UNN Institute of Clinical Medicine.

Professor Natalia Grigorieva, Director of the Institute of Clinical Medicine, delivered presentations on some of the most pressing topics in cardiology, while the residents engaged in a discussion during the young scientists’ competition.

Participation in the forum contributed to the exchange of professional expertise, strengthened scientific collaborations, and served to enhance the qualifications of both staff and students of the UNN Institute of Clinical Medicine. This, in turn, lays the groundwork for further advancing clinical practice and research in the field of cardiology.
