Training seminars for school teachers of Nizhny Novgorod

NNSU organised training seminars for school teachers of Nizhny Novgorod region. More than 50 teachers took part in it

Lobachevsky University’s Centre for Continuous Professional Development of Educators provides training seminars for teachers of general educational institutions of the Nizhny Novgorod region with the aim of providing methodological support to the region's pedagogical staff.  

In early November, a one-day seminar on «Techniques for solving high level problems in physics» took place at Lobachevsky University. It was conducted by Evgeny Anisimov, Assistant of the General Physics Department at the UNN Faculty of Radiophysics. During the seminar, participants considered solving Olympiad problems,   as well as tasks of Unified State Examination test materials.
The topic of the next seminar was «Chemical experiments in modern school. Implementation in the context of the updated Federal State Educational Standard». This two-day seminar for school teachers was conducted by a team of  lecturers from the UNN Faculty of Chemistry led by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Alexey Markin. During the seminar, participants were given a tour of the faculty and visited laboratories. Apart from that, solutions for advanced problems were considered and chemical experiments were demonstrated.

In total, more than 50 teachers from different districts and cities of the Nizhny Novgorod region attended the training seminars.
