UNN academics take part in the congress of international relations researchers

Representatives of Lobachevsky University took part in the First St.Petersburg Congress of international relations researchers "Global and regional challenges in the changing world". It was held at the Faculty of International Relations of St. Petersburg University.

Igor Komarov, Deputy Director for International Affairs at the UNN Institute of International Relations and World History, and Maria Gorbunova, Head of Department at the UNN Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship, presented their paper "Evolution of the World Order: Characteristics of Future Architecture" within the section "Issues of Modern Geopolitics" moderated by I.F. Kefeli, Director of the Centre for Geopolitical Expertise at RANEPA.

The concept of the evolution of the world order proposed by our colleagues as part of their interdisciplinary research sparked a lively discussion among the panel participants representing leading Russian and foreign universities.

The next congress will be held in 2024. Research papers of the UNN team have been published in the journals Comparative Politics, Bulletin of International Organisations, Asia and Africa Today, Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies indexed in Web of Science, Scopus and RSCI databases.
