UNN badminton team wins bronze at the Universiade

The badminton competitions of the 9th All-Russian Summer Universiade 2024 took place in Ufa. The Lobachevsky University team included six athletes: Alexander Guryanov, Mikhail Chaikin, Maria Golubeva, Ekaterina Ladygina, Olga Kulkova, and Klim Klopov. They represented the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, the Institute of Philology and Journalism, and the Faculty of Physics. The coach of the team was Alexander Gutko, Head of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Sport Training at the UNN Faculty of Physical Education and Sports.

This year, the Lobachevsky University team repeated its result at the last Universiade and became the bronze medallist of the tournament.
