UNN choir reaches semi-finals of the Battle of Choirs All-Russian Competition
The Lobachevsky University Choir under its artistic director and conductor Larisa Erykalova has reached the semi-finals of the Battle of Choirs All-Russian Competition, which will be held at the Sirius Educational Centre in Sochi.
More than 2,000 applications from all regions of Russia were submitted to the qualifying stage of the competition, 150 choirs made it to the quarter-finals, and took part in consultations with 50 mentors.
In the semi-finals, 31 teams will compete for victory. Among them are the best ones from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kirov, Kursk, Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Perm, Rostov and other regions representing all federal districts of the Russian Federation.
The semi-finals and finals of the competition will be held at the Sirius Federal Territory as part of the World Youth Festival 2024.
The choirs will showcase their regions and become part of a large creative community, engaging in interesting musical collaborations and gaining experience of performing at major venues. The competition will become an unforgettable event for each participant.
