From 16 to 21 November, Asia’s largest scientific and technical exhibition “China High-Tech Fair” was held in the city of Shenzhen (China). In fact, the fair is a set of specialized exhibitions, exhibition activities, forums and conferences on IT-technologies, aerospace industry, the "Smart city" concept, environmental safety, neurotechnology, new technologies in the energy sector, etc. Lobachevsky University for the first time participated in an exhibition of this scale showing its materials at the exhibition stand of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. The Lobachevsky University delegation included First Vice-Rector - Vice-Rector for Economic and Innovative Development Vadim Saygin, Acting Deputy Director of the Center for Innovative Development of Medical Instrument Engineering Mikhail Sergeyev, and Head of the Neuroengineering Department Alexei Pimashkin.

UNN demonstrated at the exhibition its latest product, the EOS cybertrainer. The cybertrainer is a simple and lightweight sport suit with integrated sensors and a microcomputer. The suit can adapt to the unique characteristics of human muscle groups and transmit recommendations regarding the development of sports skills to augmented reality glasses. Besides, the personal cybertrainer can contact the athlete in a direct manner: by means of tactile pulses addressing particular areas on the human body it prompts the sportsman how to do this or that exercise, how to strain the muscles, etc. The UNN exhibition stand was visited by the representatives of the Russian Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. As a result of its participation in the exhibition, Lobachevsky University concluded preliminary agreements on the joint dual degree program with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and on international cooperation in the field of medical robotics and human-machine interfaces with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. A preliminary agreement was also concluded with the Timestar company providing for the continuation of the joint "Cybertrainer" project and its implementation for the needs of China's Disabled Association.
