UNN Engineering Centre included in the Best Practices Catalog of the Russian Ministry of Higher Education and Science
The Engineering Centre of Lobachevsky University has been included in the Best Practices Catalog of the Russian Ministry of Higher Education and Science. The Centre carries out and development projects commissioned by enterprises, and the results of its work are implemented in production and technological processes.
The Centre specialises in the following areas: biomedical technologies and devices, signal processing algorithms, and control systems. In addition, employees of the Centre are engaged in the development of applied software in each area. Researchers pay special attention to the study and implementation of memristive technologies and artificial intelligence systems, as well as the development of electronic components for memory devices, neuromorphic and neurohybrid systems.
Apart from research work, the UNN Engineering Centre also provides interaction between the university's research teams and enterprises and promotes commercialisation of R&D.
“The Centre's inclusion in the catalog of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science will let even more of our potential partners know about the opportunities we have and will give impetus to new projects. I would like to thank the whole team of the Centre headed by Rustem Salikhov and Nikolai Agudov for their fruitful work,” said Oleg Trofimov, Rector of Lobachevsky University.
