UNN Faculty of Physical Education and Sports will train coaches for martial arts

 The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports has opened admission for a new profile of training, "Coaching in Sports". Within the framework of this area of studies,  coaches for various types of martial arts will be trained. On July 26, Rector Evgeny Chuprunov and Chairman of the Board of the Nizhni Novgorod Regional Federation of Martial Arts Nikolai Ivanov signed an appropriate agreement at the UNN Media Center.   According to the document, the Federation’s experts will give lectures at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. They will also supervise students’ practical training and will organize sporting events together with Lobachevsky University. In the future, a similar system of interaction will be established with the Nizhni Novgorod Wrestling Federation. UNN plans to sign a corresponding agreement on cooperation and launch a joint project - the Entrant’s Cup in Greco-Roman wrestling.
