UNN improves its standing in the ARES-2018 ranking

According to the results of the annual ranking held by the European Science and Industry Chamber, Academic Ranking European Standard (ARES) 2018, Lobachevsky University received this year the category "A", improving on its results of previous years (in 2017 and 2016, the UNN held the position "BBB +"). The peculiarity of this ranking is that all higher education institutions are assigned letter values ​​from A to D, where A is the highest category. The organizers of the ranking noted among the strengths of Lobachevsky University its educational and research work, as well as the demand for graduates in the labor market and UNN’s international activities. The ARES ranking evaluates universities from the European perspective, where special attention is paid to the quality of education, in particular, to the results of the implementation of university programs to improve the quality of education, as well as the level of its faculty members. Other important parameters of the ranking include the university’s international activities and the role of the university in the socio-economic and cultural development of the region.
