UNN in the TOP 10: Lobachevsky University scientists receive the Russian President’s scholarship

Lobachevsky University has confirmed its status of one of Russia’s foremost research centres: 17 young UNN  researchers became the winners of the third competitive selection for the appointment of the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation for postgraduate students. With this result, the university occupies the eighth place among all higher educational institutions in Russia.

In total, 800 young researchers from various regions of the country were awarded scholarships of the Russian President. The selection process was highly competitive, as noted by Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. The scholarships that amount to 75 thousand roubles per month for a period of 1 to 4 years were awarded to young UNN scientists who conduct research in biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics.
