UNN is in the world league of the best universities in the 2018 Round University Ranking

For the fourth consecutive year, Lobachevsky University confirms its high standing among the world universities in the prestigious international Round University Ranking (RUR).
This year, UNN holds the 504th place and is among Russia’s top 11 universities in this ranking. In some categories, in particular, the quality of teaching, it holds the 246th place. Within the framework of the 2018 rating survey, the performance of universities was measured by 20 indicators, including "Teaching", "Research", "Internationalization", "Financial Sustainability", etc. In this rating, each university receives its unique score accurate to 3 decimal places and its respective position.

According to UNN Rector, Professor Evgeny Chuprunov, despite the tightening competition in the global scientific and educational space and the increase in the number of universities participating in the rating, Lobachevsky University successfully maintains its positions in the world league of the best universities. "In the context of the increasing complexity of the world educational space and the expansion of the range of educational programs offered by the world's leading universities, our indicators in the 2018 rating confirm the consistently high international level of education and research at our university. We are pleased that the quality of teaching, such an important component of any university’s work, is also highly appreciated," said Evgeny Chuprunov.

Round University Ranking (RUR) has been published since 2010. During these 9 years, more than 1000 leading universities of the world from 80 countries took part in the rating of RUR. The data provider for the RUR system is the international company Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters division for research and intellectual property).
