UNN is named among top 10 Russian universities in terms of the salaries of its law graduates

The portal "Superjob for Students" has published its 2019 rating of Russian universities reflecting the level of salaries of university graduates working in the field of law who completed their studies in 2013-2018.

In this rating, Lobachevsky University ranks 10th.  According to Kirill Markov, UNN Acting Rector, the university has for several years maintained its position in the top 10 of the salary rating of law graduates.

“This fact confirms that our graduates are much in demand in the labour market.  There is a stereotype about the oversupply of lawyers in Russia, however, in reality we really lack good lawyers. Our partner employers are to a large extent involved in the process of training future lawyers and prosecutors at the university, they know our graduates who are in great demand. All this is reflected in a high level of our graduates’ salaries. I would especially like to note that more than 70% of our law students successfully find jobs in the field of their training in the Nizhny Novgorod region,” emphasized Kirill Markov.

The average salary of UNN graduates in this field is currently 70 thousand rubles, an increase of 4 thousand compared to 2018. The average score of the Unified State Exam also increased, reaching 88.3.
