UNN makes a presentation at the Russian House in Bethlehem

On September 29,  Lobachevsky University took part in a webinar organised by the Russian House in Bethlehem and the Esenin Centre for Russian Language and Culture at Al-Istiklal University (Jericho, Palestine). Deputy Vice-Rector Konstantin Kemaev, Head of the Department for International Student Affairs Ekaterina Smirnova and Acting Head of the Admissions and Academic Coordination Office for International Students Ekaterina Skotnikova made a presentation for young Palestinians studying the Russian language about Lobachevsky University and its scholarship programmes. Future applicants were especially interested in the medical majors offered by UNN, its English-language Bachelor and Master programmes, as well as the opportunity to be admitted to UNN based on the results of Open Doors and Lobachevsky/RU international olympiads.

This meeting was a part of the continuing cooperation between Rossotrudnichestvo, Al-Istiklal University and Lobachevsky University. Following the summer visit of the Palestinian university’s delegation to Nizhny Novgorod, a cooperation agreement will soon be signed between this Jericho university and UNN.
