UNN Pavlovо branch develops cooperation with Belarusian college
On December 18, Russian-Belarusian round table "Features of Production Management in Russia and the Republic of Belarus" was held online in the Pavlovo branch of Lobachevsky University. Taking part were students and teaching staff members of the UNN Pavlovo branch and the Borisov State Polytechnic College (Borisov, Republic of Belarus), which is a branch of the Belarusian National Technical University.
"This is our first experience of interaction with the Belarusian National Technical University. Lobachevsky University has cooperation agreements with other universities in the Republic of Belarus and we are glad that the round table initiated by our Pavlovo branch gives us the opportunity to establish cooperation with the college and its parent university," - said Konstantin Kemaev, Head of the UNN International Cooperation Office in his welcome speech.
During the round table, its participants discussed some historical aspects, problems and strategies for the development of production management in Russia and Belarus, as well as in other post-Soviet countries. The participants shared their research results and practical experience of production management in their respective countries. According to Dr. Natalia Yagunova, Director of the UNN Pavlovo branch, international scientific and educational cooperation is an important area of Lobachevsky University's strategic development and a powerful catalyst for developing the global higher education system.
The round table discussion helped to develop further international cooperation between the branches of the two leading universities, to establish professional contacts, to develop the students' skills of public speaking at international events and conducting discussions on professional topics. At the end of the online event, the Pavlovо branch of Lobachevsky University and the Borisov State Polytechnic College agreed to continue cooperation and enter into partnership agreements. Lobachevsky University students and lecturers also received an invitation of the Belarusian National Technical University to take part in the theoretical and practical conference in May 2021.
