UNN postgraduate student wins two bronze medals at European Draughts-64 Championship

The European Draughts-64 Championship under the auspices of the International Draughts Federation (IDF) closed in Alanya (Turkey). Athletes from Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Latvia, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Hungary, and Romania took part in the tournament. The competition was held in the Russian version of draughts-64 in 3 disciplines: classical, rapid and blitz game.

Vitaly Egolin, a postgraduate student of the UNN Faculty of Radiophysics, brought two bronze medals to the Russian national team in the disciplines with short time control - rapid and blitz game - in the age category under 27 years old.
