UNN Professor Yaroslav Sergeyev gives a lecture at the conference «Game Theory and Management»
On October 5-9, the fourteenth international conference «Game Theory and Management» was held at the Higher School of Management of St. Petersburg State University. The conference focused on the results of theoretical and applied research on dynamic, differential, evolutionary, network, training, adaptive, cooperative and experimental games, including game theory applications in the following areas: strategic management, industry organization, marketing, operations and supply chain management, public administration, financial management, human resources management, energy and natural resources management, environmental management problems.
Yaroslav Sergeev, Professor of the Department of Mathematical Support and Supercomputer Technologies at the UNN Institute of Information Technologies, Mathematics and Mechanics, delivered a plenary lecture at the conference on October 7 on a new computing paradigm that he had developed for calculations with various infinitely large and infinitely small numbers to be performed on a new type of supercomputer. The plenary lecture was followed by a breakout session at which scientists from the UK, Italy and the USA presented their reports on the use of the new paradigm in problems of game theory and decision making.
