UNN Professor Yaroslav Sergeyev gives a lecture on global optimization in Baku

Yaroslav Sergeyev,  Professor of the Department of Mathematical Support and Supercomputer Technologies at the UNN Institute of Information Technologies, Mathematics and Mechanics, gave a plenary lecture "Lipschitz Global Optimization" at the 7th International Conference on Control and Optimization with Industrial Applications held in Baku, Azerbaijan. Professor Sergeyev is the President of the International Society for Global Optimization. The conference has offered an excellent platform for researchers and practitioners in the field of control and optimization from around the world to discuss and exchange their ideas. During the plenary sessions and meetings, participants discussed topical issues of control theory, optimization, intelligent systems, numerical and computational methods, mathematical modeling and many others.
