UNN Rector Meets Bologna Follow-Up Group Representatives

On October 13, Lobachevsky University Rector Evgeny Chuprunov met with the  representatives of the Bologna group: Patricia Pol, co-chairperson of the International Cooperation Advisory Group of the French Ministry of Education, Ella Ritchie, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Newcastle University (UK), Mariana Saad, member of the Bologna Follow-Up Group (BFUG) Secretariat, and Françoise Profit, head of the BFUG Secretariat. The Rector hosted the European officials on the eve of the meeting of the Advisory Group on International Cooperation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) to be held in Nizhni Novgorod with the participation of 15 countries. It will be attended by representatives of the European Commission, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the European University Association and UNESCO. The purpose of the meeting is to present to EHEA education ministers some proposals for the internationalization of education systems. These proposals have to be approved in 2018 in Paris at the following Bologna forum. Russia will be represented at that Forum by Alexander Grudzinskiy, Director of the UNN Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship.
