UNN representatives take part in 10th Eurasian Peace Science Conference

Maria Gorbunova, Head of the Department of World Economy and Customs at the UNN Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship, Igor Komarov, Deputy Director of the UNN Institute of International Relations and World History (IIRWH) and Igor Ryzhov, Head of the Department of Russian History and Politics at IIRWH, took part in the prestigious 10th Eurasian Peace Science Conference. The online event themed "Peace Science in Times of Pandemic" was organised by the 10th Eurasian Peace Science Conference World International Studies Committee.

The Lobachevsky University team presented their paper titled "External Stakeholders in Afghanistan and Pakistan Security" as part of the panel "Domestic and External Determinants of Conflicts, Political Violence, and Foreign Policy". The team conducts interdisciplinary research using quantitative approaches and big data to explore the dynamics of international relations and has published results in journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus.
