UNN represented at the Russian-Dutch Higher Education Forum

Russian-Dutch Higher Education Cooperation Forum was held at the Financial University in Moscow on 3 October 2019. The Forum was held in partnership with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of the Netherlands, the Dutch Organization for Internationalization in Education (Nuffic), Nuffic Neso Dutch education center and the National Erasmus+ Office in Russia.The event that brought together university experts involved in international cooperation was aimed to strengthen interaction between the two countries in the field of higher education. Lobachevsky University was represented by Irina Leonova, Director of the International Affairs Department.

The Forum was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Dutch universities (Groningen, Leiden, Maastricht School of Business & Economics, Radboud, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, Saxion University of AS, Twente, Wageningen, Zuyd University of AS, Wittenborg University of AS), the Dutch educational center Nuffic Neso in Russia, the National Erasmus+ Office, representatives of Russian universities. The event provided experts with the ground to share the best practices gained in internationalization of educational process. It also opened a new horizon for joining efforts with the Dutch partner universities.

Over the years, Lobachevsky University collaborated with a number of Dutch universities, including the Institute for Space Research SRON-GRONINGEN, Maastricht University, Radboud University, the University of Twente. In particular, UNN implemented with Radboud University academic mobility projects in the framework of the Erasmus+ program, and joint research is conducted within the HORIZON 2020 EPTRI project.
