UNN scientists awarded grants of Nizhny Novgorod Region Government

The grant competition was held in some of the key areas of science, technology and engineering development in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Several Lobachevsky University projects received 1,000,000 roubles each to be implemented:

1. 1. "Hall effect sensors for magnetometry, navigation, pattern recognition systems" - Mikhail Dorokhin, Leading Researcher of UNN Physics and Technology Research Institute;
   2. "Development of mathematical tools for implementing the geometric kernel of new-generation BIM and CAD" - Evgeny Konopatsky, Professor of UNN Institute of Information Technology, Mathematics and Mechanics;
2. 3. "Development of gel concentrate for stabilising grinding powders in the process of chemical-mechanical planarisation of silicon and silicon carbide substrates for microelectronics production" - Ksenia Otvagina, Researcher at the UNN Research Institute of Chemistry;
   4. "Development of a prototype system for monitoring driver alertness with heart rhythm and eye movement analysis" - Valeria Demareva, Head of the UNN Laboratory of Cyberpsychology;
   5. "Development of an efficient photochemical method of alkene isomerisation using flow microreactors" - Egor Boronin, Junior Researcher at the UNN Department of Organic Chemistry.
