UNN scientists take part in the All-Russian Forum “Quant 2025”
The Third All-Russian Forum “Trusted Quantum Technologies and Communications - QUANT 2025” is a flagship event for the quantum technologies sector. More than 400 participants, including manufacturers of equipment for quantum communications, researchers and representatives of universities met at its venue in Moscow to discuss current problems of the quantum industry and personnel training.
Lobachevsky University was represented at the forum by Marina Bastrakova, Head of the Laboratory for Nanostructures Theory at the Physics and Technology Research Institute (PTRI) , Mikhail Ivanchenko, Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Institute of Information Technology, Mathematics and Mechanics, Alexander Malyshev, Dean of the Faculty of Physics, and Mikhail Sergeev, research assistant at PTRI. The UNN display booth featured information about research results on hybrid quantum-classical neural networks implemented at Lobachevsky University, as well as about its educational programs on quantum technologies.
As part of the forum, a working meeting was held on further development of the Interuniversity Quantum Network project. Lobachevsky University became one of the hubs of this network in 2024.
