UNN showcases its educational programmes in Tashkent

A delegation from Lobachevsky University, including representatives of the Department for International Student Affairs, took part in the 29th "Education and Profession" International Exhibition. The event took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan's capital. 

The exhibition is an annual event. In 2026, it will take place from April 13 to May 16 and will cover 12 cities across Uzbekistan. The key activities were centered in the two largest cities: Tashkent and Samarkand. This platform brings together prospective students and university representatives from different countries, offering a unique chance to explore study opportunities.

The members of the UNN delegation introduced exhibition visitors to Nizhny Novgorod and Lobachevsky University. They highlighted the city's location and its convenient access to the Russian capital and to Kazan, a significant centre of Turkic culture in Russia. It was emphasised that Lobachevsky University is among the leading universities in the Russian Federation, being one of the largest in the Volga Federal District with its 12 faculties and institutes offering admission for international students.

Future applicants were particularly interested in such areas of study as Dentistry, General Medicine, Law, and IT.  School students paid great attention to information about these programmes and exchanged contact details to learn more about applying to UNN. Overall, more than 100 potential candidates were registered as a result of the exhibition, which is an excellent result for the university.
