UNN signs cooperation agreement with Labconcept LLC

Evgenia Chernykh, Acting Rector of Lobachevsky University, and Vladimir Kortikov, Director of the Labconcept LLC representative office in Nizhny Novgorod, have signed a cooperation agreement. According to the document, the university will hold a competition for a personal scholarship. The funds for the scholarship payment will be provided by the Labconcept Group of Companies. Lobachevsky University’s postgraduate students specialising in natural sciences will be eligible apply for the scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded for the spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year and the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.

“Lobachevsky University has been cooperating with Labconcept for many years. Our Faculty of Chemistry has a vast pool of state-of-the-art equipment to perform world-class scientific research. The partners help us to keep the equipment in working condition, as well as to launch new projects and purchase instruments for our new lines. The company supports the research made by our young scientists, students and postgraduates,” said Alexey Markin, Dean of the UNN Faculty of Chemistry.

Labconcept Group is a distributor of its own and third-party Russian and foreign brands of analytical and general laboratory equipment and consumables.  Besides, the company specializes in the development and deployment of client-server software.

“Our company supports the development of science and education in Russia and strives to contribute to the applied skills of young researchers across the country. We have developed scholarship support programmes for students and postgraduates in cooperation with major universities, including Lobachevsky University, Saint Petersburg State University, and Far Eastern Federal University, as the main measures to assist in implementing research projects,” noted Vladimir Kortikov, Director of the Labconcept LLC representative office in Nizhny Novgorod.
