UNN signs cooperation agreement with Moscow State University and Shenzhen MSU-BIT University
Lobachevsky University has signed a trilateral agreement on scientific and educational cooperation with Lomonosov Moscow State University and Shenzhen MSU-BIT University (PRC). The ceremony took place on 17 April at the Universities and the Future forum, which opened at MSU in Moscow.
The agreement provides for cooperation between the partner universities in implementing joint educational programmes leading to the award of three diplomas. The document specifies the process and stages of training. The first stage will be organised at MSU-BIT, and the second one at Lobachevsky University.
"The triple degree will allow our students who have completed the relevant programmes to have their qualifications confirmed by state-issued documents from three universities at once. We already have experience of working with MSU-BIT. In 2022, we launched a joint bachelor's programme in biology taught in English. Within the framework of grants from the Russian Science Foundation and the State Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), together with MSU-BIT we have submitted an application in the field of biomedicine and big data "Regulated glia cell death in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease: new therapeutic opportunities". The agreement we have signed is a new stage in the development of our joint activities, which opens up good opportunities for scientists and students," said Oleg Trofimov, Rector of Lobachevsky University.
The partner universities are also planning to develop scientific cooperation in various fields, exchange experience in the field of advanced teaching methods, as well as publications and materials, organise multilateral symposia, seminars and conferences, and conduct joint research projects and programmes.
